What do I do if the recipient did not receive the fax I sent using Fax Thru Email?
The most common cause for a Fax Thru Email
recipient not receiving a fax that was successfully transmitted is that the fax number was incorrect. Therefore, the fax was successful,
but it was sent to an unknown recipient. Fax transmissions are successful when the fax is answered at the receiving end and the receiving
fax machine confirms receipt. If a recipient claims not to have received a fax, check the recipient's fax number and try again.
There
are no charges for faxes that were not transmitted or received. Minutes are only deducted if the fax transmission was successful.
Other Possible Issues
Invalid email address
If the account email address is not entered and registered to a valid email address
you will not be able to use Fax Thru Email. Also, if you use the remote faxing feature to send fax messages, the "From" email address
must be the same as the registered Fax Thru Email account email address.
Insufficient account minutes
If your account activity has
exceeded the monthly minutes as per your plan, both incoming and outgoing fax messages are not processed. You can purchase Minute
Packs that let you apply minutes to your monthly plan.
